To the “People of Tomorrow” brace yourselves for there may be hope for a return of….TomorrowWorld! Well, at least that’s what the internet has been buzzing with, since a recent statement released by TomorrowLand of Belgium, may have hinted of it.

In 2016, fans of TomorrowWorld were devastated by the news that, due to SFX going bankrupt, and a huge blow to the reputation of the festival, after management’s attempt to handle 2015’s poor weather conditions went completely awry, that the festival would not be returning in 2017. I personally, remember sitting on my couch, making plans with my friends to attend the next year, when my friend read me this statement:

Dear Friends,

It’s with a heavy heart that we inform you, TomorrowWorld will not take place in 2016. Unfortunately in the current environment, it is not possible to give you the best and unique experience you deserve.

We will miss seeing each other in September and experiencing the magic of TomorrowWorld as one. You, the People of Tomorrow, the foundation of TomorrowWorld, are our inspiration.

Let’s lock and cherish all the magnificent memories in our hearts, this is not farewell…

….And just like that our dreams were crushed!

However, it seems the light may be shining threw these dark times of TomorrowWorld as TomorrowLand has mentioned they would be willing to work with LiveStyle (The new SFX), which is almost under completely new management since being bought out. Not only did they say they are hoping to bring TomorrowWorld back to the USA, but want to have a festival on every continent possible.

Now, is it likely that this will happen by 2018, we highly doubt it… there just isn’t enough time. However, it does give us hope that one day, all of “The People of Tomorrow” will get to walk through those gates again, hand in hand, music blaring and RAGE like there is a Tomorrow!
