Get ready to TURN TF UP! Mala Luna returns for its second annual festival in San Antonio and believe me when I say it’s not something you’re going to want to miss.  Last year, Mala Luna made its official debut selling out its entire two-day weekend passes with a total of 30,000 attendees.  It provided an incredible lineup featuring huge Hip-hop and EDM artists headlining Travis Scott, Steve Aoki, G-eazy and Kaskade; making it a truly unforgettable weekend.

This year, Mala Luna is kicking it up a notch with a new location in Nelson Wolff Stadium (Parking lot), which will allow for an expanded overall footprint to enhance experiences for festival goers.  The returning event will take place during Halloween weekend on October 28-29, and will feature a mixture of jaw-dropping Hip-hop, R&B and EDM artists.

GA two-day tickets are now available for purchase for the price of $119.  Additionally, single day GA passes to the fest are just $79.  VIP two-day packages include up to three options: Black Moon, harvest moon and fly me to the Moon, which range in price from $209-$399.  VIP perks include, but are not limited to, preferred viewing areas, expedited entry, dedicated bars and restaurant facilities, festival merchandise and more.  Interested patrons are encouraged to act fast as these VIP tickets are in extremely short supply.  For more information regarding VIP packages, or to purchase any ticket option please visit the official Mala Luna website.

Saturday: Day 1 Will kick off with headlining sets from some of the best hip-hop artist in the game.  So get ready to put your rap skills to the test while yelling  your lungs out to your all-time favorite Wiz Khalifa lines!  Of course, let’s not forget the multi-Grammy award-winning artist Lil Wayne himself. One of the most recognizable EDM producers in the world, Carnage, will be accompanied by some of the most exciting up-and-coming Hip-hop and R&B acts today, like Playboi Carti, Kali Uchis, Ugly God, Smokepurpp, J.I.D and more.

Sunday: Day 2 Will close out the festival with a huge bang when two of the hottest names in music are set to take the stage: Future, whose Future and HNDRXX albums made him the first act in nearly 60+ year history of the Billboard 200 album chart to achieve No. 1 debuts in consecutive weeks; the Migos, whose sophomore album, Culture, also topped the Billboard 200 chart, boosted in large part with their mega-hits “Bad and Boujee,” “T-shirt,” and “Slippery.”  Don’t worry EDM lovers, Mala Luna has you covered with these additional Day 2 performers, which include two of the top EDM heavyweights in the scene like Afrojack and Borgore.  As insane as this Sunday lineup already sounds, is a true Texas festival even complete without our very own Texas-based artists?  Rising R&B sensation Khalid will also take the stage as well as acclaimed rappers, Trae Tha Truth and Maxo Kream (Houston); San Antonio’s Xavier Omär and more.  The full single-day lineup can be found below at:

A true festival experience is never complete without diverse food options!  Mala Luna has definitely got this one covered with their vast selection catered to all tastes and preferences (even to those vegetarians and vegans out there!).

Here is a list including some of the vendors that will be available: Purple Pig BBQ, Kettle Kings, The Original Taste of the Caribbean, CornHub (we see what you did there), Wing It, Heros Gyros, Lupita Gorditas, Wholly Cow and many more.  Click here to see the full food selection list.  We highly encourage you to look at some of their menus online so you can start drooling over all the food you will devour soon enough.  There will also be multiple bars located throughout the festival grounds; FREE water will be available, just don’t forget to bring your empty bottle, Camelback, or sealed water bottle to refill.

Last year was the Mala Luna inaugural fest!  Although it was the first major music festival to take place in San Antonio with uncertainty on how it would play out, let me just say the sold out event speaks for itself.  Check out this video from the official Mala Luna site highlighting 2016 performances, art, festival grounds and the people!
