Houston native, M.E. Swank, drops a “percussive trap” track called, Zipper, a banger to say the least. Zipper, was released off of The WhiteNoiize Collective, a Texas collective who strive to “bring the ‘EDM’ community together through expression, support, and promotions”.
Zipper, is the kind of trap song that I can see being played at a show or festival, and everyone going insane. Right off the bat, the first drop had me hyped. While listening to the song I literally envisioned everyone in the crowd getting all hyped up, with their jackets zipped up, and when the beat drops, everyone just going nuts, unzipping their jacket and wild’n out.
I think the only thing that I can really critique about this new track, is the length. The song is so good it left me wanting more. By the time, I was getting pumped up, the song was coming to an end. I found myself listening to it more than once, just to satisfy my want for more. Which I guess could be a good and bad thing.
Keep your eyes peeled for , M.E. Swank, in the future. I am certain this wont be the last you hear from him. You can catch him coming up for Electronic Therapy, November 15th, at Kong’s Bar in Lubbock, TX.
