It’s 2018 and the Trillvo team is making moves.  Festival season is upon us, and we plan to hit up twice as many music festivals this year to give you guys the best coverage possible! We want to take you on our journey as you follow and experience these events for yourself through our articles.

Trillvo is proud to announce that our team members have arranged to cover at least one festival of every single month for 2018. If you’re unsure about what festivals to attend this year, hopefully, this list can help sort out what you’re looking for.

Here’s a list of music festivals we plan to attend.  Although these lineups certainly speak for themselves, scroll down to read why we want to cover them!

Holy Ship!

First festival of 2018 went to this booze cruise. If you made it out to this year’s Holy Ship! then you’ve already mastered the party boat scene. If you missed out this year, here’s what you missed out on…


EDC Mexico

If you have yet to check out the lineup for EDC Mexico, it is just incredible. There are so many genres packed into here filled with many of the top electronic artists in the game right now – seem’s like they all got snagged together for this lineup, and we just can’t get enough of it. As of now, EDC Mexico will be the only out of country festival covered.

I chose to attend EDC Mexico, because it’ll be my first music festival in another country and I’d love to see how another culture celebrates the music we love so much. Also, that lineup is the best lineup I’ve ever seen in my life, and I’ve been going to festivals and concerts for 15 years – Michael Placencia

EDC Mexico will take place February 24 & 25 in Mexico City, Mexico at Autódromo Hermanos Rodriguez sporting venue.

Okeechobee is all about nourishing the mind, body, and spirit through the 4 day long festivities. It is an immerse arts festival as well, so be ready to dive into creativity, art, and expression. Start your journey with a relaxing yoga session or available workshops throughout the weekend. Either way, this one will be one for the books.

The lineup is so diverse and I’ve heard nothing but great things about the festival. I’m most excited to see Zeds Dead, Bassnectar and Tipper; including a full moon Bassnectar set on the beach! – Sarah Dickens

Okeechobee will take place March 1-4 in Okeechobee, Florida on the beautiful land of Sunshine Grove.



If you love the thrill of roller-coaster rides, good food, and great performances – Botanica is the place to be. This family-friendly event will feature international touring acts in addition to some local artists in the scene. All attendees will have full access to the Six Flags park in addition to the event itself! It will even be debuting its new Wonder Woman roller coaster that very weekend.

This festival has so much to offer other than just music. San Antonio really has been stepping up and expanding their game in the festival scene, I can’t wait to see what they do for this one. – Nina Lakhiani

The inaugural Botanica Music Festival will take place March 3rd at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio.



Buku Music and Art Project have a thrilling culture of its own, considering it’s located in the spontaneous city of New Orleans. Without a doubt, we know this festival is unique in its own funky way.

Nothing can compare to that delectable soul food you’ll find here, and don’t even get us started on all the art expected to showcase alongside the banging lineup ranging from electronic, hip-hop and indie artists! We’ll be sure to capture every corner of this one for you guys.

Buku will take place March 9 & 10 at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans.


Beyond Wonderland SoCal

Beyond Wonderland epitomizes a whimsical, colorful world of music, psychedelic production, and art installations. This festival definitely gives off those Alice in Wonderland vibes and we don’t doubt it’ll feel like it too.

Beyond Wonderland SoCal will take place March 16 & 17 at NOS Events Center in San Bernardino.

Ultra will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this March, and by the looks of this phase one lineup – it’s going to be LIT AF. Miami knows how to party, so we have nothing but high expectations for this one on the list!

Art is never short of the experience at Ultra, be sure to expect some fantastic live-painting performances and life-scale installations throughout the festival grounds.

Ultra will take place March 23-25 at Bayfront Park in Miami, Florida.

Spring Gathering

Spring Gathering will be celebrating its first of four seasonal special events hosted by Bassnectar himself. The first is always a must, which will be nothing short of a representation of Spring – the ideals of rebirth and regeneration.

Spring Gathering will take place March 30 & 31 at Stephens Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Looking to achieve that natural high? Euphoria Music Festival provides an abundance of this, thanks to diverse music options and positive community vibes. You’ll also get to experience beautiful natural surroundings the great city of Austin has to offer. One visit to this city and you will know why it’s labeled the Live Music Capital of the World.

Euphoria will take place April 5-8 at Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, Texas.

For those of you who like a breath of fresh air with a great nature valley view – Backwoods is the move. Held on top of a mountain located in Ozark National Forest in Arkansas, you’ll truly be connected with music and nature as one. Backwoods is a time to escape from reality and enter a hybrid realm of music, art, and good vibes camping with friends.

Backwoods will take place April 20-22 at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Arkansas.



Hip-hop music lovers, if you’re looking for something that will guarantee to have the best rappers in the scene JMBLYA is the festival for you. Houston is a new addition the JMBLYA family this year; However, we will be covering the Austin location.

Get rowdy, get lit, and be ready to vibe to your favorite hip-hop songs!

JMBLYA will take place May 4, 5, and 6 in Dallas, Austin, and Houston Texas.

EDC Las Vegas

Electric Daisy Carnival is one of the biggest recurring EDM festivals to date. Experience and celebrate the essence of peace, love, unity, and respect ‘Under the Electric Sky’.

The production, sound, and decor will never fail to blow your mind and make you feel like you’re in a fairytale realm. At EDC ‘All Are Welcome Here’ to express, wander, and meet new people with nothing but positive energy.

EDC Las Vegas will take place May 18 & 19 at L.V. Motor Speedway.

Start your Summer off with a major bang and dance the night away in beautiful Florida listening to great music in rain or shine. This past year, Sunset has brought huge EDM influences like Major Lazer, Above & Beyond, RL Grime and Zeds Dead. We can’t wait to see what Sunset fest will bring to the table this year.

Sunset Music Festival will take place May 26 & 27 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.

Enter a paradise land and leave behind your worries of reality. Paradiso embraces the fusion of modern-day technology with nature’s pure bliss. This is where a community can come together to embark on an adventure to a land where digital meets nature with top-notch audio and visual production.

Paradiso will take place June 15 & 16 at the Gorge Amphitheater in George, WA.

Electric Forest

I mean c’mon the festival name says it all! Who wouldn’t want to spend a weekend (or two) in an electrifying lit-up forest? The perfect hideaway to get lost in a jungle of lights surrounded by your closest friends listening to your favorite artists.

Electric Forrest is my home. I’ll be at both weekends because one weekend last year just wasn’t enough. I can’t wait to be back and feel those vibes again! – Sarah Dickens

Electric Forrest will take place June 22-24 & June 28-July 1 at Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, MI.

Global Dance

Once again Global Dance will be transforming their new venue location into an all-encompassing festive experience. Last years event was anything but short of expectations with a carnival atmosphere with rides and games, food truck village, silent disco and an art installation park just to name a few amenities.

Stick around to see what new amenities Global Dance will bring for a successful mind-blowing summer music fest in the beautiful city of Denver, Colorado

Hard Summer

What better way to bring those Summer days to a near end other than with Hard Summer Fest? Line-ups are diverse in music genres catering to all music tastes consisting of alternative, electronic, and emerging talents. Party Hard or go home.

Electric Zoo

 Electric Zoo Festival is one of New York City’s largest music festivals and features the top names in electronic music. Bringing a variety of acts from all across the globe for a weekend of pure bliss. This will be E-Zoo’s 10th annual New York edition, so let’s hope for something wild and untamed.

Electric Zoo will take place August 31- September 2 at Randall’s Island Park in New York, NY.

Lost Lands

Let’s go back in time and get lost in a prehistoric party with Excision and friends! This bass-hard festival will give you the ultimate head-banging experience and that’s why we have to be there. The massive dinosaur ground displays were just otherworldly and surreal from last year’s event that they are bound to captivate you into returning.

I’m so excited to get to make the journey back to Excision’s Lost Lands this year. Last year I had no idea what I was getting into as I planned my trip. This year, I’m returning home. – Dustin Scoggin

Something Wicked

Celebrate All Hallows’ Eve this year by dancing to some freaky beats at the best Halloween fest in Texas. You can’t just show up without putting together a creative costume to show off, in fact, it’s encouraged!

Something Wicked always put’s on amazing intricate stage production to really make it feel creepier than ever. It definitely differs from most festivals in that way.

Voodoo is more than just a music festival. The fact that it’s in NOLA spices things up a lot more, stirring together a musical gumbo of intricate art, community, mouth-watering cuisine and all the mystery this city has to offer on Halloween weekend.

Voodoo will take place October 26-28 at City Park in New Orleans, LA.

Escape into a psychotic land that is certain to captivate and gratify the essence of a freak Halloween experience.  As far as entertainment goes, music is just a portion of what you’ll get. Dreamstate SoCal

Lights All Night

Do New Year’s Eve right and come experience Texas’ biggest end of the year festival in the grand city of Dallas where top-notch EDM artists will give you one last memorable performance of the year.
