The night kicked off with Spencer Brown warming up the steadily-growing crowd with pulsing rhythms and melodic vocals, filling the space with hypnotic trance beats and laying the groundwork for the performance to come. By the end of his set, the dancefloor was packed with dancing, cheering people and the stage was set for Above & Beyond to begin.

With a shoutout and thank you to Spencer Brown for opening, Above & Beyond took the stage and immediately set the crowd ablaze with old favorites and remixes, including Faithless’Salva Mea 2.0”, “Alone Tonight”, and “Sirens of the Sea”, and soon had everyone dancing and singing along to the familiar verses that sparked fan’s love for the trio’s distinct trance sound.Expertly mixing older hits with new songs like “Northern Soul,” “Tightropes,” and “My Own Hymn”, Above & Beyond only heightened the excitement of the crowd, holding nothing back, giving everyone what they wanted to hear. The light show and confetti that accompanied the energetic tracks dazzled the audience and added a stellar visual element to the show.

The two hours seemed to flash by as the night drew to a close with a final chorus of fan favorites with “Sun and Moon,”“Thing Called Love,” and several more well-loved songs, which held the audience spellbound as the trio ended their set and closed the 4th night of their tour.

Common Ground, Philadelphia was a beautiful performance and an amazing night all around. Whether it’s a new fan or a long time member of the Anjuna family, anyone who has the pleasure of attending one of the tour dates is sure to find Common Ground and have a blast.
