Hailing all the way from Rotterdam (Netherlands), Ferry Corsten is one of the original pioneers of trance and has been in the scene since the early 90’s. Ferry has been very busy lately with track releases on his UNITY project as well as weekly episodes on his show ‘Corsten’s Countdown’.

Ferry collaborated with Paul Oakenfold on “A Slice of Heaven”, which marks his first record in his UNITY project. The purpose of the project is to work with artists in the trance community to “bridge the gap between tempos, rhythms and artistic points of view”.

During this week’s episode of Corsten’s Countdown, Ferry Corsten kicks off with a club mix of “Safe From Harm” by Markus Schulz & the amazing vocals of Emma Hewitt. During the Listener’s Choice track, the show changed pace as Ferry Corsten paid tribute to the death of Tim Bergling (also known as Avicii) using his 2010 track “Bromance” (Avicii’s Arena Mix).

Episode 565 concludes with the top track “Safe With Me”, which was a collab between DIM3NSION and Ferry Corsten. The track was premiered worldwide on April 11th as part of Ferry’s UNITY project.
