The Lit Lords are notoriously known for bringing the hard trap almost exclusively. However, they have been experimenting with all different kind of genres and seeing how they can incorporate those harsh sounds. Their new track, “Ugoki,” does this beyond well.
“Ugoki” will please all those future house heads out there because this track definitely takes much inspiration from that genre. The pitch variety of the vocals and the leads into the drops are the parts that stand out the most for the future house inspiration. However, the drops are something of just pure bliss. They both have that hard screech, but not too ear-piercing levels, rather a more bouncy and lower frequency. The second drop in particular is something that brought the endorphins out in my brain with the slightly groovy bass break.
What more can I say? I can not encourage artists enough to experiment with new avenues and genres, because you never truly know what you can make and how it may sound. Lit Lords, keep going against the grain.
