Excision and Wooli have released a monstrous 4-track, Evolution EP.
From melodic to headbanging dubstep, both artists surfaced some only previously teased tracks (Wooli’s Voyage Tour Mix) that are sure to keep you on your toes… Or at the rail.
The first track to start off the EP was Excision and Wooli’s collaboration, “Lockdown.” This track is seriously one to take a listen to. With longer build-ups to some of the hardest hitting drops, both artists truly had me in goosebumps after listening. I remember Wooli playing this at Electric Forest; in which the crowd went buckwild. Very happy to have this finally released for all of us to enjoy.
The next track off the EP is “Oxygen;” in collaboration with Trivecta and vocalist Julianne Hope. This song is very melodic with heavy dubstep undertones throughout the track. All in all the track is no doubt beautiful, and really caught my attention.
The next track off the EP is their collaboration, “Evolution” with Sam King. This song is one I’ve been waiting to be released after the track was teased on Wooli’s new Voyage Tour Mix. This track has energy-filling build-ups and skin-chilling drops. This track is sure to be a favorite for many; including myself.
The last track off the EP is a collaboration with Excision, Wooli, Seven Lions, and vocalist, Dillon Matthews, called “Another Me.” This track is yet another song off the EP that is full of melodic dubstep sounds by all three mentioned above, and lyrics that are promising to keep your skin left in chills.
Overall, I think this 4-track EP is one to take a listen to. Every track on the EP is unique and entices both melodic and headbanging dubstep, and a mixture of both in some tracks. Every track on the EP are nothing but heaters. I’m super happy Wooli and Excision have released this EP, as I know how much Excision has supported Wooli.
Be sure to catch Wooli on Tour as he may come to a city near you!
