Born and raised in Miami, FL, Hunter Reid was introduced to the world of electronic music at a young age. His early exposure to house music gave birth to a funky booty tech house prodigy. Hunter has quite and impressive collection of track releases on Dirtybird, Psycho Disco!, Box of Cats, Audiophile XXL, and Perfect Driver. Or maybe you caught his set at Okeechobee Music Festival’s Incendia Stage. Over the years hes supported major tech house artists such as Claude Von Stroke and Green Velvet. His signature quirky booty shakin’ bass lines are sure to make noise in 2019.
Hunter’s ‘Black and White’ EP boasts two house heaters ‘Black and White,’ and ‘Shockwave.’ Known for his OCD-esque production, this EP might be the cleanest one to date. But, don’t be fooled by Hunter’s tidiness, he brings in a dirty low end bass that will have your booty shaking. The EP title track ‘Black and White,’ features a penetrating bassline while the minimalist soundscape highlights each and every frequency. The second track ‘Shockwave,’ is a slow burner with a fantastic breakdown. Hunter’s EP boasts support from Treasure Fingers, Anna Lunoe, Wongo, and Kyle Watson.
