The HennyBois Collective are an up and coming group of artists that have released music under labels like Hybrid Trap and have even had their music featured by major artists, like Ephword. The Collective have released a massive new compilation album featuring songs from 10 of their most talented artists. The HennyBois consists of artists from across Southern California working together to push the boundaries in the competitive EDM industry. They began in November of 2018 as a group of Bois responsibly united by Hennessy. Today, they exist as producers who independently release music, formed their own music label, and some who have played festivals all around the world. of Fueled by their favorite drink of course. The compilation is huge, but I want to take a moment to highlight 3 of my favorite songs from the album. The first of which is a massive dubstep tune from artist FedBanger called “Stuck.”
Like the name suggests this song is an absolute banger. FedBanger pulls out all the stops for this epic brostep tune. The harps and lead synth drive the tracks energy while the pulsating drum rhythms keep your head bobbing and your feet moving. That is until the horns come in to take the energy up a notch before the track drops. All that is left to do is find the nearest rail and lose your mind to the bassline. Its melodic, its heavy and it’s brostep at its finest.
The next track I’m featuring comes from the trap artist BLVCKJESUS. “Euphoria” is a beautiful example of the kind of diversity we can expect from this label and the artists behind it. BLVCKJESUS strays from his trap roots here to remind us how beautiful melodic drum and bass can sound. The track is rightly titled, so as “Euphoria” is the only word that comes to mind when describing the feeling that I get when listening. I wanted to call it my favorite song on the album, until I heard this last track I want to talk about…
If you know me, you know I am a sucker for trap music. The HennyBois truly saved the best for last on this one. Closing out the LP is the artist known as SPLYNTS, and he hits us with what might be the heaviest track on the entire album. The synths are huge, the basses are disgusting, the rhythm is intoxicating and it all comes together for a trap track that will keep you hyped until the very end.
You can hear these tracks, and the rest of the compilation as well below! And don’t forget to follow The HennyBois Collective on all their social media platforms for more music from these incredibly talented artists.
