Porter Robinson is giving us his ALL in 2020. Starting the journey back in January, Porter released his first single of his upcoming album Nurture, titled ‘Get Your Wish‘, and it was filled with raw emotion and moving lyrics. The latest from him, “Something Comforting” was released on March 10, 2020.

This is a different side of Porter we’re getting to see. He’s becoming more public about the struggles that he faced during 2015 through early 2017; not having the motivation to write, create, and loss of inspiration. The constant tug-of-war between your mind and your art had Porter in a haze for those 2 years. “Something Comforting” was written at the peak of his depression… back in 2015. He wrote this instrumental hook that he ended up being obsessed with, knowing this is something that he created and that it was good enough. “This is my shit.” 5 years later, Porter gives us the context about the track right before releasing it.
