TRILLVO: How did you start producing?
GAWM: “When I was 16 years old, I unfortunately had a serious leg injury that had ended my soccer career. As a result, I had to find myself a new hobby. I did have a musical background and I started to get into producing specifically in hip-hop.”
TRILLVO: Sorry to hear about the soccer career! Who has been you biggest inspiration for producing?
GAWM: “My biggest inspiration is Skrillex. I actually had the honor to play with him a couple years back when he was going by Sonny Moore. Watching his growth and seeing all his success really gave me perspective. I realized that anybody who works hard and stays consistent, can make it in this industry.”
TRILLVO: Wow, that must have been an amazing experience! We definitely agree with the work ethic. How would you describe your sound and how did you develop it?
GAWM: “My sound is very trappy and wonky, but I can get aggressive with my sound as well. I like to stay in the dubstep and trap world.”
TRILLVO: What is your creative process like?
GAWM: “That really depends on my mood. To be honest, my best music has been made whenever I have an argument with my girlfriend hahah. We should really give her credit, she’s the real MVP!”
TRILLVO: Haha, well shoutout to your girlfriend then! What has been your favorite performance so far?
GAWM: “I got the chance to perform at Academy LA, which is my favorite venue in Los Angeles.”

TRILLVO: Always a special show getting to play at a venue you’ve been a fan of for so long. Do you have any pre-show rituals?
GAWM: “I need to have my peanut M&M’s before every show, always. It’s at the top of my rider in bold, with all caps italicized. My peanut M&M’s are my go to!”
TRILLVO: Hear that promoters, dont forget the peanut M&M’s! What’s in your bag that you always make sure to have?
GAWM: “A pair of black shoes. They go with everything.”
TRILLVO: If you weren’t producing what do you think you would be doing?
GAWM: “I’d probably be working as a barer. Would love to open up my own barbershop sometime down the line.”
TRILLVO: I’d hire you to come give me a quarantine cut right now haha. Any hobbies outside of music?
GAWM: “I’m a big time gamer, I like to play video games on my down time.”
TRILLVO: Awesome! What is some of the best advice that you have been given?
GAWM: “Don’t ever stop learning and growing as a person. Everyday is an opportunity to excel in life and adapt something new.”
TRILLVO: If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
GAWM: “SUPPORT THE UPCOMING ARTISTS! Some of these upcoming producers are extremely talented, and have a lot to offer to this industry.”
TRILLVO: What is something your fans would be surprised to know about you?
GAWM: “I love making Spanish rap music! Anytime I can spit some bars in the studio, I go for it.”
TRILLVO: What’s one message you would give you fans, what does your music aim to say?
GAWM: “You can make music at anytime. Even in your darkest days. My music defines who I am as a person and all my moods. My sound stems from my anger, my stress, my experiences, and most importantly my happiness.”
TRILLVO: Goals for 2020?
GAWM: “I think 2020 so far has been a rough one for most. However, I’m trying to make the best out of it. So far I’m happy with the way things have been going for me in 2020. I knocked out some goals early on and had some awesome support with all my releases. My manager and I have come up with a great game plan for this year and we’re working hard to execute in a way that’s most beneficial for me. I try not to focus on anything superficial. My main goal is to make good music, and get my name out there as much as possible. I have a great team around me that I’m thankful for and we’re just taking it a day at a time. I do have some cool releases coming up this summer so be on the lookout for those!”
