Up and coming artist Lupa and her latest single “Pain Killer,” properly expresses the underground resistance type of feel she brings out in her creations. The Arizona artist, also known for her incredible mastery in graphic designing, produced an audio-visual piece alongside the track, watch it here! Both the video and track shows a heavy influence from the anime movie Akira, centered around human experiments that follows an atomic bomb.

“Pain Killer” jump starts with an uninterrupted yet steady drum kick that quickly revamps into a melodic journey. Each rift throughout the track is met with a brief pause where the words “Pain Killer” are exclaimed, adding a haunting atmosphere. Additionally, The industrial sound Lupa produces is the type you can allow to let your mind wander and have your emotions guide you.
