Released over a year ago, Dabin‘s track “Alive” was the lead single for his Wild Youth album and was very well received by the EDM community. Back in May, Dabin had asked fans on his social media about which songs from his year old Wild Youth album should get an “acoustic treatment” and many voted for “Alive” as one of the selected tracks.

Soaring buildups and energetic, heart-fluttering bass drops characterize much of Dabin’s initial version. The latest edition of “Alive” features subtle piano chords that start off the track, carrying throughout much of its beginning before RUNN’s soft-spoken vocals begin. RUNN‘s voice meshes perfectly with the “acoustic treatment” that Dabin put on “Alive.” If you aren’t familiar with RUNN, her vocals are featured throughout many tracks by artists like ILLENIUM and Seven Lions. Overall, the acoustic version of “Alive” is a refreshing take on the original track and elevates it to a smooth yet melodious masterpiece.

I hope this brings a little hope and happiness into your days.
