Anjunabeats celebrate 20th anniversary with the release of ‘Volume 15’ mix

Anjunabeats, the iconic record label founded in the year 2000 by Above & Beyond, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. As part of the celebrations, Jono, Tony, and Paavo today announce the 15th release in the celebrated Volume series. Crafted by Above & Beyond in their London studio for the first time during the COVID-19 pandemic, Anjunabeats‘ Volume 15 signals the direction this label is heading in. The 34-track mix features exclusive and unheard selections from Above & Beyond and their label’s ever-expanding family of artists.

The songs are arranged to sound like one mix that starts small and gets bigger when the two CDs are played together. Disc one is a deeper, progressive mix, which features a selection of deep house talent from Anjunadeep (Marsh, Qrion, Durante & HANA, Frost and PROFF). Disc two highlights the trance sound that Anjunabeats is known for while also including six contributions from Above & Beyond. There are two Volume 15 exclusive remixes of Above & Beyond’s staples: “Oceanic”, remixed by Germany’s Jerome, and “Sun In Your Eyes,” remixed by Sunny Lax.

In total, over 30 artists have been included in the mix. Anjunabeats legend Andrew Bayer teams up with ALPHA 9, Cosmic Gate, Genix, and Spencer Brown on several collaboration tracks. Volume debutants include Jordin Post, Le Youth, and gardenstate (a new project from Marcus Schössow and Matthew Felner) are joined by label mainstays like Andrew Bayer, Genix, Gabriel & Dresden, Oliver Smith, Mat Zo, Jason Ross, Tinlicker, and Sunny Lax. Trance music’s power trio, Elysian (Ilan Bluestone, Maor Levi, and Emma Hewitt) also make an appearance.
