Bass artist SORA has secured a spot in the rising class of up-comers and his raw energy speaks for himself. His melodic elements and heavy hitting bass has gained the recognition of many artists such as Barely Alive, Dr. Ozi, 12th Planet and many others.

SORA’s continual efforts have paid off, as he has already released on UK-based Ōdio Records, DSV Audio, Uplink Audio, and Disciple Round Table. His track “Thunder,” that kicks off our guest mix, was released via BUYGORE and his most recent, “Shift” a collab with Severe, was dropped by Interval Audio. There is no doubt that his unique sound and passion will drive him further into your playlists.

from SORA

Drawing inspirations from Skrillex and Must Die!, Sora started at a young age and threw himself all in. He played out his first show in New York when he was still in tenth grade, while the rest of us were probably stressing over passing a test. He’s currently focusing on mastering the craft of evolving his sound and were VERY excited to see where it takes him!

A true lover of anime, where his name is derived from, Sora hosts anime nights in his discord server. During these nights fans and the producer get the opportunity to come together to watch movies. It’s a great atmosphere if you’re looking for friendly anime hangs, make sure to check it out!

The grind doesn’t stop for SORA and this mix for us showcases his latest tracks, inspirations and his wicked talents behind the decks. We caught up with SORA and chatted about recent life under quarantine, how he got started into DJing, and he gives us his top two anime recommendations!
