It’s SPOOKY season ladies and gentleman, you know what that means… Ghosts, goblins, pumpkin spice, and of course spooky music from your favorite artists as well. Monstercat artist Bensley recently dropped a spooktacular DnB track, Vex, that will set the mood for what’s going to be a rather unconventional spooky season.

I love this track and the whole aesthetic of if it. It makes you feel like you’re in a classic John Carpenter horror movie from the 80’s, but with a modern spin. The droning synth with the classic synth horns and drum beat give this thing an amazing feel to it. Adding in the haunting vocals and driving drum and bass back-end gives a sense of urgency like you NEED TO GET OUT NOW. This is the perfect soundtrack that can accompany any late night romp around an abandoned asylum, or maybe for stalking some unsuspecting campers. Whatever floats your boat this Halloween season, we don’t judge.
Grab your machete, a goalie mask, and some overalls to really compliment the mood and have yourself a great time with this track. Halloween is upon us and while this year may feel different, one thing will be certain: music will continue and will keep pushing through these times!
